About the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 Bridge Camera

The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 is a high-end bridge camera that combines a large 1-inch sensor with a versatile 16x optical zoom lens. The 1-inch sensor is significantly larger than those in typical compact cameras, delivering better low-light performance and more control over depth of field. The Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens covers a 25-400mm equivalent range, suitable for everything from landscapes to wildlife. It was one of the first bridge cameras to offer 4K video recording, and it includes a built-in electronic viewfinder, a free-angle rear screen, and manual control dials. The FZ1000 is ideal for photographers who want DSLR-like image quality and a long zoom in a single, fixed-lens body.
