About the Canon IXUS 100 IS

The Canon IXUS 100 IS is an ultra-compact point-and-shoot from Canon's premium IXUS range. Its 12.1-megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom (33–100mm equivalent) cover everyday scenes, while optical image stabilisation reduces blur from camera shake. The 2.5-inch LCD makes framing easy, and Smart Auto selects the right scene mode automatically. It also records 720p HD video. At around 18mm thick, it slips into a pocket or bag, making it a convenient take-anywhere camera for casual snapshots and travel.
