About the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS Bridge Camera
The Canon PowerShot SX50 HS is a bridge camera built around an impressive 50x optical zoom lens. It covers a versatile 24-1200mm equivalent range, letting you capture wide landscapes and distant subjects without changing lenses. The 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5 processor deliver detailed images and Full HD 1080p video. A 2.8-inch vari-angle LCD makes framing easy from odd angles, while the electronic viewfinder helps in bright light. With manual controls, RAW shooting and a hot shoe for external flash, it suits enthusiasts wanting superzoom reach in a single, portable package.
