About the Nikon AF-P DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Lens

The Nikon AF-P DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR is a lightweight standard zoom for Nikon DX-format (APS-C) DSLRs. Its AF-P stepping motor delivers quick, near-silent autofocus, making it ideal for both stills and video. Vibration Reduction helps reduce camera shake, allowing sharper handheld shots in low light. The 18-55mm range (27-82mm equivalent) covers wide-angle to short telephoto, perfect for everyday photography, travel and portraits. As a DX lens, it is designed for crop-sensor bodies and will not cover the full frame of an FX camera. The lens is compact and retractable for easy storage, and its optical design includes aspherical elements for good sharpness and contrast.
