It covers a versatile 55-200mm range (equivalent to 82.5-300mm on a 35mm camera), ideal for portraits, wildlife, sports and travel. Vibration Reduction compensates for camera shake, allowing sharper handheld images at slower shutter speeds. The Silent Wave Motor (SWM) provides fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual override. Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements reduce chromatic aberration for clear, high-contrast images. Its lightweight design makes it an excellent companion to standard kit lenses.
