About the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens

The Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM is a professional ultra-wide zoom from Canon's L series. On a full-frame body it covers a dramatic 16mm wide-angle through to a natural 35mm, suiting landscapes, architecture, interiors and events. The constant f/4 aperture keeps exposure consistent through the zoom range, while the optical Image Stabiliser compensates for around four stops of camera shake, helping handheld shots in low light. A ring-type USM motor focuses quickly and quietly with full-time manual override, and the lens is built to L-series standards with dust and moisture resistance. It also accepts 77mm filters, handy for polarisers and ND grads.
