About the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens
The Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS is a versatile standard zoom for Sony's full-frame E-mount cameras, developed with Zeiss. Its 24-70mm range covers wide-angle to short telephoto, making it a good walk-around lens for landscapes, portraits and everyday shooting. The constant f/4 maximum aperture maintains exposure throughout the zoom range, while the Zeiss T* coating reduces flare and ghosting for clear, contrasty images. Built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation helps keep shots sharp when hand-holding, and the lens uses a fast, quiet linear autofocus motor suitable for both stills and video. It is dust and moisture resistant for use in challenging conditions.
