About the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens

The Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS is a compact, lightweight standard zoom designed for full-frame E-mount cameras. It covers a useful 28-70mm range, from wide-angle for landscapes and interiors to short telephoto for portraits and everyday subjects. Built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation helps reduce blur from camera shake, making it easier to shoot handheld in low light. The lens uses a smooth, quiet linear autofocus motor that is well suited to both stills and video. Its compact, lightweight barrel makes it easy to carry as an everyday zoom, and the zoom and focus rings operate smoothly. This lens is often supplied as a kit lens with Sony full-frame bodies, but it works equally well as a compact walkaround zoom on any compatible E-mount camera.
