About this model
The Nikon Coolpix B500 is a bridge camera built around one thing: reach. Its 40x optical zoom takes you from a 22.5mm wide-angle for landscapes and group shots to a 900mm-equivalent telephoto for wildlife, sport and the moon, with lens-shift Vibration Reduction to keep handheld shots steady. The tilting 3-inch screen helps with low and high angles, and it records Full HD video. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (SnapBridge) send photos to your phone automatically. It runs on four AA batteries, so spares are easy to find anywhere. A good choice for beginners, families and holiday photographers who want far more zoom than a phone without changing lenses.
