About this model
The Bose QuietComfort 25 is a wired over-ear headphone built for travel and noisy environments. Its active noise cancellation reduces engine drone, traffic and office hum, while the over-ear cushions seal comfortably around your ears. The detachable cable includes an inline remote and microphone for Apple devices, so you can take calls and control music without reaching for your phone. Powered by a single AAA battery, the headphones work passively if the battery runs out. The QC25 folds flat for storage in its carry case. This model is a popular choice for frequent flyers and commuters who want effective noise cancellation without wireless charging or Bluetooth.

Questions about this model
Do the Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones need a battery?
Yes, one AAA battery powers the active noise cancellation. Audio still works without a battery, but noise cancellation is off.
Can I use the QC25 with Android phones?
Yes, for listening. The inline remote and microphone are optimised for Apple devices, so volume and track controls may not work on Android.
Are the QC25 headphones wireless?
No, they are wired only. They connect via a detachable 2.5mm-to-3.5mm cable.
