About this model
The Canon EOS 100D (also known as the Rebel SL1 in North America) is one of the smallest and lightest DSLRs Canon has made. Its 18-megapixel APS-C sensor delivers the image quality and shallow depth of field of a proper DSLR, while the 3-inch touchscreen makes settings and playback easy to use. Full HD video recording is on board, and the camera uses Canon's EF/EF-S lens mount, giving access to a huge range of lenses. This kit includes the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III lens – a compact, lightweight standard zoom that covers wide-angle to short telephoto, ideal for everyday shooting, travel and portraits.
