About this model
The Canon EOS 2000D is a straightforward, lightweight DSLR for anyone moving up from a phone or compact camera. Its 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor captures far more detail and depth than smaller sensors, especially in low light. The optical viewfinder gives a clear, lag-free view, while the 3-inch LCD is handy for menus and reviewing shots. Built-in Wi-Fi with the Canon Camera Connect app lets you transfer images to your phone and control the camera remotely. This kit includes the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens – a versatile everyday zoom with image stabilisation for sharper handheld photos and video. It's a reliable first DSLR with access to Canon's extensive EF and EF-S lens range.
