About this model
The Canon EOS 450D (also known as the Rebel XSi) is a 12.2-megapixel entry-level DSLR with an APS-C sensor, offering much better image quality than compact cameras, especially in low light. It has a 3-inch LCD with Live View for composing shots on screen, a 9-point autofocus system and a bright optical viewfinder. This kit includes the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens, a versatile standard zoom with image stabilisation to reduce blur from camera shake. The 450D is a solid choice for learning photography, with full manual controls and access to Canon's extensive EF and EF-S lens range.
