About this model
The Canon EOS 850D (also sold as the Rebel T8i) is a mid-range APS-C DSLR that sits above Canon's entry-level models. Its 24.1-megapixel sensor delivers clean, detailed images with shallow depth of field, and the optical viewfinder gives a true, lag-free view of the scene. The 45-point all cross-type autofocus system tracks moving subjects well, while Dual Pixel CMOS AF in live view and Full HD video provides smooth, reliable focusing (4K video uses contrast-detection AF). It records 4K video and offers a vari-angle touchscreen for shooting at awkward angles. This kit includes the EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM zoom, a compact everyday lens with image stabilisation and near-silent stepping motor focusing.
