About this model
The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS is a versatile all-in-one zoom for Canon APS-C DSLRs. Its 7.5x range covers wide-angle to telephoto, making it ideal for travel, events and everyday shooting when you want to carry just one lens. Image Stabilisation compensates for up to four stops of camera shake, helping you shoot handheld in low light or at the long end. Autofocus is driven by a DC micro-motor. The lens uses a six-blade aperture. It focuses as close as 0.45m, and the zoom ring locks to prevent the lens extending when carried. A practical, reliable choice for photographers who want flexibility without changing lenses.

Questions about this model
Will this lens fit my full-frame Canon camera?
No, it is an EF-S lens designed for APS-C bodies only. It will not mount on full-frame Canon DSLRs.
Does it have image stabilisation?
Yes, it has Canon's 4-stop Image Stabilisation, which helps reduce blur from camera shake.
Is the autofocus noisy?
It is not silent; the DC micro-motor produces some audible noise and is not the best choice for video where quiet autofocus matters. The later STM version of this lens is the quiet option.
