About this model
The GoPro HERO4 Black was GoPro's flagship action camera and is still a capable choice for capturing adventures on a budget. It records 4K video at 30fps, 2.7K at 60fps and smooth 1080p at up to 120fps for slow motion, plus 12-megapixel photos with 30fps burst and time-lapse modes. Protune gives more control over colour and exposure. The camera is small and light; with its housing it is waterproof to 40m, and it fits the huge range of GoPro mounts for helmets, bikes, cars and chests. Note it has no rear screen – you frame and play back through the GoPro app on your phone.
