About this model
The GoPro Hero 8 Black is a compact, rugged action camera designed for capturing smooth, high-quality footage in demanding conditions. It records 4K video at up to 60 frames per second and 1080p at up to 240fps for slow motion, with HyperSmooth 2.0 electronic stabilisation that works across all resolutions and frame rates. The camera is waterproof to 10 metres without a housing and has a built-in folding mount that removes the need for a separate frame. It supports optional Mod accessories, such as the Media Mod, Display Mod and Light Mod, which add features like a flip-up screen, external microphone or LED light. The Display Mod and Light Mod attach magnetically to the bottom mod port, while the Media Mod is a cage that wraps around the camera. The Hero 8 Black also offers 12-megapixel photos, LiveBurst, TimeWarp 2.0 and a front-facing status display (not a live preview screen).
