About this model
The Nikon AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED is a versatile telephoto zoom for Nikon F-mount cameras. Its 70-300mm range covers portraits, sports, wildlife and travel, and works on both full-frame (FX) and APS-C (DX) bodies, where it gives a 105-450mm equivalent view. Vibration Reduction compensates for camera shake, helping you shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds. The Silent Wave Motor provides fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual override, while two Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements reduce chromatic aberration for clear, high-contrast images. Internal focusing keeps the lens length constant and allows the use of polarising filters. A practical, lightweight telephoto zoom for enthusiasts.
