About this model
The Nikon D3200 is an entry-level DSLR built around a 24.2-megapixel DX-format (APS-C) sensor, which is far larger than the sensor in a phone or compact camera. That means cleaner low-light images, more control over background blur and plenty of detail for cropping or large prints. A Guide Mode explains settings on screen as you shoot, making it a friendly first DSLR, while the 11-point autofocus and 4 frames-per-second burst handle everyday action. This kit includes the AF-S DX 18-55mm VR zoom, a versatile everyday lens with Vibration Reduction for sharper handheld shots. It records Full HD 1080p video and works with Nikon's wide range of F-mount lenses.
