About this model
The Nikon D3500 is a compact, easy-to-use DSLR aimed at beginners and anyone stepping up from a phone or compact camera. Its 24.2-megapixel DX-format (APS-C) sensor captures detailed images, and the camera's Guide Mode explains settings on screen as you shoot. It records Full HD 1080p video and offers a 5 frames-per-second burst for everyday action. This kit includes the AF-P DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G non-VR lens – a light, collapsible standard zoom covering wide-angle to short portrait lengths. The D3500 uses Nikon's F mount, giving access to a huge range of lenses, and its EN-EL14a battery is rated for around 1,550 shots per charge.
