About this model
The Nikon D5100 is a mid-range DX-format DSLR that sits above the entry-level D3100. Its 16.2-megapixel APS-C sensor delivers clean, detailed images with shallow depth of field, and the 3-inch vari-angle screen makes it easy to shoot from high or low angles. It records Full HD 1080p video at up to 30fps with autofocus, and offers a range of creative effects and a 4fps continuous shooting rate. This listing is for the camera body only, so you can pair it with a compatible Nikon F-mount lens you already own or choose one separately. It uses the EN-EL14 battery and SD/SDHC/SDXC cards.
