About this model
The Nikon Coolpix L25 is a straightforward compact camera designed for everyday snapshots. It has a 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens covering a useful 28–140mm range, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. Operation is fully automatic, with Nikon's Easy Auto Mode selecting the right settings for the scene, and a Smart Portrait system that retouches skin tones and can detect blinks. It runs on two AA batteries, so you can use disposables or rechargeables and never worry about a proprietary charger. The L25 is a good choice if you want a cheap, light camera for holidays, parties or for a child learning photography.
