About this model
The Nikon Coolpix P510 is a bridge camera built around a huge 42x optical zoom lens, covering an equivalent range of 24–1000mm. That makes it equally suited to wide landscapes and distant wildlife or sports. Its 16.1-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor delivers detailed images, while lens-shift vibration reduction helps keep shots sharp at long focal lengths. A 3-inch vari-angle LCD screen lets you compose from awkward angles, and the electronic viewfinder is useful in bright light. The P510 also records Full HD 1080p video, has built-in GPS for geotagging, and offers full manual controls for photographers who want to learn. It runs on a rechargeable EN-EL5 battery and stores images on SD/SDHC/SDXC cards.
