About this model
The Nikon Coolpix S9500 is a slim, pocketable superzoom that covers far more than a typical compact. Its 22x optical zoom reaches from a wide 25mm view to a long 550mm equivalent, so you can shoot landscapes and distant subjects with the same camera. The 18.1-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor works with Nikon's lens-shift vibration reduction to keep handheld shots sharp, and the 3-inch OLED screen provides clear framing. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you send photos straight to a phone or tablet for sharing. It is a simple, versatile choice for travel and everyday photography when you want a long zoom without carrying a bag of lenses.
