About this model
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ48 is a bridge camera that covers a huge focal range without changing lenses. Its 24x optical zoom runs from a wide 25mm equivalent for landscapes and group shots to a long 600mm equivalent for wildlife, sport and distant subjects. A 12.1-megapixel sensor and Panasonic's image stabilisation help keep handheld shots sharp, while the 3-inch LCD makes framing and reviewing easy. It records Full HD 1080i video and offers manual controls alongside automatic modes, so it suits both beginners and photographers who want one versatile camera for travel, family and outdoor use.
