About this model
The Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD is a 22.2x superzoom for APS-C DSLRs, covering everything from wide-angle landscapes to distant wildlife in a single lens. Its optical stabilisation (VC) helps keep handheld shots sharp, while the High-Linear Drive (HLD) autofocus motor delivers quick, quiet focusing. The lens is designed for APS-C (Di II) cameras and is not recommended for full-frame bodies, where it would produce severe vignetting. With a minimum focus distance of 45cm and a maximum magnification of 1:2.9, it's also useful for close-up work. Built with a compact, lightweight design, it's a versatile travel and walkaround lens that saves carrying multiple optics.
