About this model
The Sony A5000 is a compact, beginner-friendly mirrorless camera. Its 20.1-megapixel APS-C sensor is far larger than those in phones or compact cameras, delivering cleaner low-light images and smooth background blur. The 3-inch screen tilts a full 180 degrees for easy self-portraits and vlogging, and built-in Wi-Fi with NFC lets you transfer photos to a phone and control the camera remotely. This kit includes the Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ OSS power zoom lens, which retracts for portability and offers Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation. It records Full HD 1080p video and is a great value entry into Sony's E-mount system.
