About this model
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V is a pocketable travel compact built around a 10x optical zoom that starts at a useful 25mm wide angle, so it handles landscapes and distant subjects without changing lenses. Its 10.2-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor is designed for cleaner results in low light, and Sony's Exmor R technology works with the camera's Sweep Panorama and handheld twilight modes to help in tricky conditions. It records Full HD 1080i video, and the built-in GPS tags photos with their location. A good choice if you want a small, versatile camera for holidays and everyday use.
