About this model
The Canon EOS M is Canon's first compact system camera, pairing an 18-megapixel APS-C sensor with a small, simple body. Image quality matches Canon's entry-level DSLRs of the time, with good low-light performance and control over depth of field. The 3-inch touchscreen handles most settings and lets you tap to focus and shoot. This kit includes the EF-M 18-55mm IS STM zoom, a compact standard lens with image stabilisation and smooth, quiet stepping-motor autofocus that suits both stills and video. It is a straightforward, compact step up from a phone or compact camera for anyone wanting interchangeable lenses.
