About this model
The Sony Alpha A7 III is a full-frame mirrorless camera that balances speed, image quality and portability. Its 24.2-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor delivers excellent low-light performance and wide dynamic range, while the 693-point focal-plane phase-detection AF system covers about 93% of the frame for fast, accurate focusing. It shoots continuously at up to 10 frames per second with autofocus tracking, and records 4K video using full pixel readout without pixel binning. The body includes a 3-inch tilting touchscreen, a 2.36-million-dot electronic viewfinder, dual SD card slots and in-body 5-axis image stabilisation. It is a popular choice for photographers and videographers who want professional features in a compact, lightweight package.
