About this model

The Sony Alpha A7R II is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 42.4-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, delivering exceptional detail for landscapes, studio and commercial work. Its 5-axis in-body image stabilisation compensates for camera shake with any lens, while the 399-point focal-plane phase-detection autofocus tracks moving subjects quickly. The electronic viewfinder and tilting rear screen make framing easy, and the camera records 4K video internally. With a compact, weather-sealed body and the vast Sony E-mount lens range, the A7R II remains a compelling choice for photographers who need high resolution without the bulk of a DSLR.
